What are the advantages and disadvantages of using plastics?

Also, it is durable, low in cost, water-resistant, requires less energy to produce and heavy chemicals and is lightweight. 


Disadvantages of plastics: We all know that plastic bags are manufactured of a non-renewable resource, which provides us many reasons to use recyclable shopping bags. Plastics are harmful to both the environment and animals because they are not disposed of properly. Lastly, plastic bags clog roadside drains, which can flood the road in heavy rains.
